    Just tried this place last weekend.  Got the BBQ pork basket.  Sandwich was good, mild sauce was nice and sweet.  Onion rings were good.  Potato wedges were great, very large portion and flavorful.   Hush puppies were good too and a pretty large portion of them.  Overall, a pretty good value and we will definitely be back.  Only wish we lived a bit closer.

    We've eaten here twice, for lunch.  I intended to get some ribs but we opted for lunch specials instead.   It's really hard to judge a BBQ restaurant without trying their ribs - we'll have to do that next time.

    BBQ Pork Sandwich lunch special was pretty good, but the side of fries was very skimpy.  The BBQ sandwich was pretty good but it had about 20% of the amount of BBQ Sauce as any normal person would expect.
    And one very important thing, the Coke actually tasted like it is supposed to.  People really need to stand up to restaurants who have them mixed wrong.

    I drive for my job and I've been to over 40 states over the last 30+ years... and I've dined at dozens and dozens of BBQ restaurants...   This was the first place that asked if we wanted "chow" with our meal.  The server acted like we were crazy for not knowing what it was.   In my 55 years, "chow", a term I never needed to use in my entire life until now, has always been a generic word for 'food' or 'meal'.  But here it is some weird, nasty relish.   We also see that Chuck's in Herrin serves the same nasty stuff and they put it on your food (to RUIN it) without even asking.

    Anyway, since we were here in the summer of 2018, we've been to 20+ BBQ restaurants... and we still have never again been confronted with this "chow" nastiness.

    Larry's rocks for BBQ! I had the turkey BBQ basket, it was awesome. Try the 'chow' on your sandwich. A small town gem.

    Driving through. Thought I would try ribs green beans, pot salad,slaw.  Ribs microwave with bunch bb sauce poured over. Slaw tasted old or absorbed other Refrig smells. Pot salad could not eat it.  Green beans  excellent tea very good.  Would not recommend this menu I had

    Super friendly staff and excellent food. Drive thru! I recommend the salacious ribs hot or mild.
